Job Description

Discovery Trail Keeper

This 5 day placement (Monday 23rd – Friday 27th September) will provide an opportunity to work with multiple taxa at West Midlands Safari Park. You will be working within our Discovery Trail team who care for over 70 species in the on-foot safari.

Day 1 – African Village (ring-tailed lemurs, red bellied lemurs, meerkats, goats)

Day 2 – Sea lions and penguins

Day 3 – Aquarium and lorikeets

Day 4 – Discovery Mammals (pygmy marmosets, goats, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas etc.)

Day 5 – Reptile House and red pandas

 

This placement is ideal for a keeper looking to gain new experience with a wide variety of taxa, and to build upon experience with similar species they have worked with before.
