Job Description
Between the 2nd and 11th October, we will be redeveloping the meerkat enclosure at Fenn Bell, increasing the height and furnishing it with multiple structures and enrichment for multiple species, creating an awesome enclosure for four species to live in.
We are offering a position for one or two people to come and join us for part or all of this project, with a minimum of three days required, which can be determined by you.
Do you need skills in construction? No, but you do need to have had some experience in basic tool use, and more importantly, a willingness to learn and be proactive. We’ll have plenty of our team on site who you will be able to shadow and learn from, so this is the perfect opportunity for somebody who would like to increase their skill set and see how a large project comes about.
Please note, this role will be quite physical at times, and will take place on an uneven/loose surface. We will also be outside in all weathers, so suitable clothing and the ability to provide a daily sun dance are required.
Whilst we have said that there is no accommodation for this project (this is due to budget), please do reach out to us as it may be that we have space in one of the properties that we have booked, depending on the dates that you can do.
