Job Description
The Chester Zoo parrot and penguin team is offering the chance to spend 3 days with us working with an amazing diversity of bird species including Southern Cassowary, Rhinoceros hornbill, Humboldt penguins, Great green macaws and many more!
As part of this placement we’re offering the chance to learn about incubation, breeding management and rearing of a range of tricky to breed species and how the team has had success with species such as Javan green magpies and Philippine cockatoos!
Also learn how the team provide highest standards of husbandry for such a range of species across 2 sections including how to manage large mixed species aviaries!
