Job Description
The primate team are excited to offer a 2-4 day placement where you will be able to experience what it is like to work with over 140 Primates. Here at Howletts we are home to a group of Pied Tamarins, Squirrel monkeys, Sulawesi Crested Macaques, Langurs, Moloch gibbons, Siamang, Geladas, Colobus and the only Hecks macaque outside of Indonesia.
This incredible opportunity will give someone the chance to see up close how the team care for these individuals, which could potentially include the giving of vaccinations, enrichment, diet and troop management.
The placement would benefit someone looking to gain experience working with a larger variety of primates and/ or develop their primate care skills.
