We have recently redeveloped one of the internal spaces of Chimpanzee Eden at Twycross zoo, as seen here https://youtu.be/cvzw4AuEpqU
We are returning soon to redevelop the second habitat between the 16th and 27th June. We are offering a position for one person to come and join us for part or all of this project, with a minimum of three of the seven days required, which can be determined by you.
Do you need skills in construction? No, but you do need to have had some experience in basic tool use, and more importantly, a willingness to learn and be proactive. We’ll have plenty of our team on site who you will be able to shadow and learn from, so this is the perfect opportunity for somebody who would like to increase their skill set and see how a large project comes about.
Please note, this role will be quite physical at times, and will take place on an uneven / loose surface.
